Another false analysis from the Warming Fanatics and truth deniers on the Left.

The Left is having a "heart attack"  over the latest chart showing a record temp average for the United States.

In an article found at Think Progress,  our Leftist "climatologists"  disregard any notion of a "trend line,"  and focus on one year and one year only  -  2012.   Their  whole case for "global warming" is based on a one year total,  only,  and that total is in the United States,  not the larger globe.

No mention is made of the fact,  as charted,  that 2010 and 2011 were the coolest years on record,  over the past decade.  Never mind that the trend line for the past 107 years show an increase in temp average of only  1.3 Fahrenheit.  Never mind that temperature increase for the larger globe is one degree Fahrenheit,  as well,  and most of that average occurred at night,  increasing the growing season.

The article asserts that we are on tract to see a 5 degree rise in temps over the course of the next 100 years.  The reasoning as this claim?  The one year increase from 2011 to 2012.  That's it.  Understand that there is no reason to believe 2012 is anything more than an anomaly,  but the Left has decided to extrapolate the 2012 statistic as it fights to redistribute wealth and to control the habits of the world's populations.   Global warming is all about control and money,  and nothing more.

Geeeesh.  Combating this bit of junk science is both boring and amazingly uncomplicated. Next time you see such a chart,  ask yourself some questions.  For example,  is the 2012 stat  based upon a general temp increase across the nation,  or an unusual increase in [maybe] three regions out of 7,  with the four remaining regions showing normal temps?  Thinking is always right.  Think Progress is seldom so.

  2. Unless you have something to say about the conclusions and arguments within the post itself, these childish comments will be deleted, in the future After reading your comment, I lost several I>Q> points.

The reason for this display of childishness? Obviously, a complete inability to actually deal with the issues at hand.

  3. Read the truth about the IPCC report.
    http://www.sciencerecorder.com/news/new-ipcc-report-evidence-supporting-climate-change-is-unequivocal/

June broke or tied 3,215 high-temperature records across the United States. That followed the warmest May on record for the Northern Hemisphere – the 327th consecutive month in which the temperature of the entire globe exceeded the 20th-century average, the odds of which occurring by simple chance were 3.7 x 10-99, a number considerably larger than the number of stars in the universe.

Meteorologists reported that this spring was the warmest ever recorded for our nation – in fact, it crushed the old record by so much that it represented the "largest temperature departure from average of any season on record." The same week, Saudi authorities reported that it had rained in Mecca despite a temperature of 109 degrees, the hottest downpour in the planet's history.

So far, we've raised the average temperature of the planet just under 0.8 degrees Celsius, and that has caused far more damage than most scientists expected. (A third of summer sea ice in the Arctic is gone, the oceans are 30 percent more acidic, and since warm air holds more water vapor than cold, the atmosphere over the oceans is a shocking five percent wetter, loading the dice for devastating floods.)
