Update: Let's get real with our summations, shall? Gallup gave Obama a two point bounce: before the DNC, Obama 47 to Romney 46; after the DNC, Obama 49 to Romney 45. Romney had a 4 point bounce with Latino's and an eleven point bounce with Independents (from 34 to 45) . (cf Huff Post).

Well, I guess I can't let this Gallup poll go
unanswered: today Gallup has this for its headline . . . . . "Election
2012 Trial Heat: Obama [49%] vs. Romney [45%] among registered voters."
Just a reminder: Obama wins all polls taken of registered voters.
40% of these folks do not vote. Always look for polls of
"likely voters" or call me a whack job, if you
prefer.
Washington Post: If the Obama
camp and its spinners think the map is shrinking for Romney-Ryan, they are
mistaken. Given the success of the Republican National Convention in boosting
Mitt Romney’s image and the egg President Obama laid last night, expect the
Romney-Ryan campaign to be launching a widespread ad offensive. It has money to
spend and it is going to use it
obama approval +10 Gallup - huge convention bounce.
ReplyDeleteRomney ....zilch.
Romney got an 11 point bounce with independents from 34% to 45%.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure why you come to this site and lie your butt off. Gallup has Obama up by 4 points but still under 50%: Obama 49 to Romney 45. Before the D. convention, Gallup had Obama at 47 and Romney at 46. Which means that your bounce was a 2 pointer. BFD.
