Obama works to gather in another "special interest" group rather trying to build a populace/consensus voting block. This time he over works Jefferson's use of the Koran.

<<<<<<  Obama continues to divide the nation in the hopes of winning this election without the help of several major and majority voting blocks,  i.e. blue collar workers,  stay-at-home housewives,  the huge tea-party constituency, Catholics and the Catholic church.

You should know that “Iftar” is an Arabic word having to do with “the evening meal.”  It is used in this case,  to reference the recent evening dinner honoring our Arabic/Muslim population.  Obama has used the “Jefferson Koran” before this instance. Understand that there is nothing wrong with showing respect for fellow Americans including Muslim Americans.  But,  in this case,  to pretend that segments of that population are "friendly" when,  in fact,  they are not,  well that is terrible mistake.

As I’ve noted before, Thomas Jefferson once held a sunset dinner here with an envoy from Tunisia -- perhaps the first Iftar at the White House, more than 200 years ago.  And some of you, as you arrived tonight, may have seen our special display, courtesy of our friends at the Library of Congress -- the Koran that belonged to Thomas Jefferson.  And that's a reminder, along with the generations of patriotic Muslims in America, that Islam -- like so many faiths -- is part of our national story. . . .
Besides the fact that our first two foreign wars have been against Muslim nations,  the current  20 war (dating back to the first Twin Tower bombing) is all about the Muslim world outside the United States and their desire to totally destroy our nation.
Point of this post:  to make mention of Obama’s over-weighted desire to make peace with the Muslim world and to point the readership to Atlas Shrugs,  a conservative blog owned by Pamela Geller, as she deals with this very matter.  If you want info on the Muslim jihadist world,  Geller’s site is a great starting point.
