Reasons for the Midnight Massacre in Colorado ? I have at least eleven possibilities. See what you think.

AFA News Director Says Liberal Churches, Media Share Responsibility for Colorado Shooting
Submitted by Brian Tashman on Fri, 07/20/2012 - Link to article here.
Fred Jackson, the American Family Association’s news director, while discussing the Colorado movie theater shooting today said that liberal Christian churches and liberal media helped contribute to violent incidents by supposedly deemphasizing the fear of God and the Bible. During AFA Today, Jackson had on as his guest Jerry Newcombe of Truth in Action Ministries to discuss his column on the AFA’s OneNewsNow blaming the shooting on a waning fear of God and Hell, and blamed the American Civil Liberties Union for destroying the public school system by supposedly forbidding students from reading the Bible. “You wonder why all these terrible things are happening to us when there is no fear of God,” Newcombe said  .
. . . . .

Update:  I forgot Rush Limbaugh and George W Bush - so that makes 13 reasons??
Update #2:  Wifie reminded me that I forgot UPS or whoever delivered all this stiyk to the lunatic killer's apartment. I, also,  forgot the most obvious,  that being the film maker for the Batman movie.  And who was supposed to monitor the emergency exit at the theater, the one used by the killer for re-entry into the auditorium?  I mean,  we can expand on this blame game all night,  no??!

Editor’s note:  the blame game is running hot and heavy with regard to the Colorado Friday Night Massacre.

ABC blamed it on the TEA party and, now,  the conservative Church has representatives putting the blame on liberal theology.

The anti-gun lobby is blaming guns  . . . . .   “guns”  I say as if manufactured goods are capable of feeling guilt.  If there is no possibility of guilt or planning or action of its own,  there is no occasion for blame.

Anti government types will blame Obama for overseeing the system that sold the guns.

Next thing we will hear is some Code Pink commie babe blaming men after which,   folks like me will start blaming men who live their lives without women making this whole sordid event the responsibility of the female species.

And somebody,  a “scientist” no doubt,  will blame this on global warming,  or low testosterone levels.

Members of the gay community will argue that the killer had no choice but to kill,  and others will see some value in the man having a gender adjustment,  after which we can start blaming women for the tragedy.

The pilots association will argue that the man had no sense of direction,  that society had failed him in this regard.

Blacks will blame it on the white man and crackers will argue that he, the killer,  had been beaten by black gay men in another life.

Get the point?

In the end,  the only reason for the disaster lies somewhere within the psyche of the young man who crafted this evil deed.  This is not a problem to be solved, but only one that must be addressed in terms of our grief and anger.

  1. You can pile on absurdities and make people sound ridiculous but in the end there are things that can be done to make mass murder less appealing and more difficult to achieve. The gun lobby has completely taken over the gun control debate and it is mush easier to buy a fully automatic assault rifle than it is for a woman to exercise her right to reproductive freedom. If you were actually "pro-life" instead of against the freedom of women, you wouldn't vote for people who support our current gun laws.

  2. You can say whatever you want in rebuttal, but the fact remains that guns kill no one. All this hysteria regarding gun control belies several facts:

    1. When we take out gang shooters, more people die in drownings than are killed by guns.

    2. Sense the assault weapons ban expired in '05, gun violence has decreased. Of course, there is no cause and effect going on here, but that is my point, exactly --- no cause and effect.

    3. DC and Chicago have extensive bans on guns and they lead the nation for gun violence.

    4. Too bad you think the killing of 1.4 million unborn infants is a women's health issue or part of the process Liberals call "family planning."

Oh, btw, remember when you chided me for being critical of the Hussan Fort Hood murder trial? I do. You actually got under my skin on that one. "If you had searched another 10 minutes, you would have found out that Hussan's trial is scheduled for June." Two days ago, we found out that the trial will not begin until next year, after this election.

Like I say, this particular trial is a slam dunk. There is no reason for the delay (he killed those soldiers in November of two thousand and freaking nine) except to cover up something this Muslim loving Administration does not want known.
