Obama has declared war on Chick-fil-A (?)

 The president of the  fast food chain,  Chick-fil-A ,  has created a fire storm  on the social media circuit,  after it was revealed that the chain does not support gay marriage. 

“Guilty as charged,”   Dan Cathy told the Baptist Press ,  “We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.”

There is no reason to believe that Cathy will back off his statement,  either. "We intend to stay the course," he said. "We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles."    Let’s not forget that the Defense of Marriage Act,  signed into law by Bill Clinton, remains the law of the land. 

Chick-fil-a, nation wide, closes all of its 1608 stores on Sunday and its 61,000 employees have that day off, each and every week.  Mr. Obama has singled out this business,  and,  no doubt,  the thugs within the Democrat party will,  now,  do all they can to destroy this business. 

Chad Griffin, president of the far Left organization,  The Human Rights Campaign, one of Obama’s official attack dog social justice groups,  issued this statement,  in part:

"While they may have been in neutral, kicking this fight into overdrive now allows fair-minded consumers to make up their own minds whether they want to support an openly discriminatory company.   As the country moves toward inclusion, Chick-fil-A has staked out a decidedly stuck-in-the-past mentality."

Updated for this  comment:  Understand that "kicking this fight into overdrive"  amounts to nothing more than a Christian business owner being interviewed by a reporter for a Baptist digital news service.  No one -  statistically speaking -  would even know of Dan Cathy's comments if  commies such as Chad Griffin had not decided to pick a fight.  What we have, here,  is, yet, another example of the anti-free speech cabal of the New Democrat Socialist Left.  They are no more patriot Americans than they are flies.  They have forfeited their right to leadership and should join their comrades in LaLa Land,  whereever that might be. 

It is a sad day in America when a food chain has to shout,  “Heil Obama” before it is allowed to conduct business.  I eat at their restaurants because the food is good and reasonably priced,  period.  

Look to support this business.  I do as often as my diet will allow.
