6 Obama Campaign Claims that are proven false.

Understand that when Obama talks about his plan,  virtually every paragraph of thought in that plan is false or grossly misleading.  I prove my point with the following comments,  but first,  the words of a man who no clue what he is doing.

Let’s review Obama’s latest non-Romney campaign ad, shall we?

You can listen for yourself, but I have taken 6 points from Obama’s video presentation for review in this post.

1.  He begins by criticizing the notion of  “trillions of dollars of tax cuts” for the rich (words to this effect).   Misinformation to be sure!!!  You should know that his so-called “tax plan”  would raise 800 billion in new taxes on the rich.  . . . . . . . . .  800 billion.  He does not mention that this is 800 billion OVER THE NEXT TEN YEARS.  We conclude, then,  that his complaint against the rich is for 80 billion a year while he knows that we are spending 82 billion every eight days.

While he talks about trillions for the rich,  his actual complaint is for pennies on those dollars.  To put it in more reasonable terms and assuming Obama means $3 trillion per year when he talks about “trillions spent by the rich,”   for every $300,000 spent by the rich,  he wants $8.00 in return.

Conclusion:  when we look at the real numbers referenced by Obama,  his “tax on the rich” pays for nothing.  Heck,  we are spending something close to $365 billion a year just on interest for our national debt and Obama is talking about 80 billion in new taxes.  This is nothing but campaign fodder and not “much of that !!

2. He speaks of “record debt over the last decade,”  apparently forgetting that 4 years of the past 10 belong to him.

Conclusion:  he is as responsible for the gross national debt as any other president.

3. He tells us that he has cut taxes to the Middle Class to the tune of 3,600 dollars “for the typical family.”  I assume he is not talking about the bottom half the national population, because they don’t pay State and Federal taxes.  And,  I know absolutely no one who has had their taxes cut one penny.   Has anyone reading this article had their tax rate cut?

Conclusion:  this particular claim is an outright lie.

4. When he talks of “extending the Bush tax cuts for “97 percent of American,”  he forgets to mention that this is for one year and one year only.  Businesses cannot plan for the future with a “one year financial plan.”  In fact,  this is just plain silly.

Conclusion,  beginning with 2014,  obviously,  Obama intends to raise taxes on all taxpaying Americans.

5. He makes the claim that he is only raising taxes on 2% of the population,  forgetting to mention that his tax plan ALSO includes doubling the tax rate on dividends,  something that will effect every pension and retirement fund in the United States and more than 130 million individual Americans.

Conclusion:  in reality,  Obama is talking about the highest tax increase in American history,  effecting virtually every American who earns money.

There is more to be said about this ridiculous four minute ad,  but I will concluded with one more correction.

6. Obama compares his tax plan to that of Bill Clinton’s and makes note that under Clinton’s plan,  “ . . . . . millionaires were doing pretty well, to boot.”  Dang right!!  We weren’t in a freaking recession!! Of course they did “pretty well, to boot.”

Conclusion:  for heaven’s sake, of the voters buy into this last statement,  they should not be allowed to vote on the grounds of mental incompetency.
