So, how does one honestly change this without it smelling like politics? "I believe that marriage is a union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian, it is also a sacred union, you know, God's in the mix." (video)

I have never considered Obama a Christian  -  on a hunch.  This video interview did not convince me otherwise.  But when he went to Georgetown and ordered the name of 'Jesus' covered over,  well,  that was "it" for me.  This past week,  his religious mentor,  Jeremiah Wright,  accused Obama of offering him a $150,000 bribe to stand on the sidelines . . . . . . . . quietly.  Think that man still believes in Obama?  And now, we know that Obama invoked the name of God for the sake of politics,  to defend a position he simply could not have believed at the time he spoke the following words.  I hasten to add that my opinion regarding Obama's faith is not important to God,  not at all.  God could be a Democrat, for all I know.  But what is clear,  is the fact that none of us have to "Right" ---  His judgment of us is borne of his grace in the face of the mess we all make of our lives.  Obama is no different,  but still,  I believe that a Christian would never cover the name of Jesus.  Understand that we are all trying to decide if we are going to vote for the man but not vote to send him to hell.

Warren asks:  Define marriage

Obama begins his deceptive comments,  with these words

I believe that marriage is a union between a man and a woman.  Now, for me as a Christian,  it is also a sacred union, you know,  God's in the mix.
