If you know who Dr. Charles Krauthammer is, this prediction will bear a sense of reality in its wording.

There is simply no reason to disbelieve Krauthammer's prediction.  Obama does not understand the relationship between spending and unsustainable debt.  In fact, there are reported rumors to the effect that a second downgrade is soon to come.  We ignored the first downgrade,  But the second will put us into a class reserved for losers,  and that ain't good.

"I think if we reelect Obama, we will have a downgrade, probably a default — something like a default, not a real default,” Krauthammer said. “But we’re going to head that way, obviously, because you can’t sustain trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see.”
