Russell Crowe to play Noah in upcoming biblical classic.

Crowe stated in November 2007 that he would like to be baptised as a Christian, and feels that he has put it off for too long. "I do believe there are more important things than what is in the mind of a man," he says. "There is something much bigger that drives us all. I'm willing to take that leap of faith." (Fox News. 6 November 2007.)

And,  with that Fox News story in mind,  perhaps Crowe is the best candidate for this movie.  The last great Christian film was The Passion.  We will wait to see if the producers of this film decide to make the Noah event "believable" or accept the biblical as written.    You do know that most ancient civilizations have a flood story in their historical traditions;  it is not just a biblical tale.  I believe the biblical account simply because I have no reason not to   . . . . . .   that all those ocean fossils at the top of Pike's Peak.
