Never, ever, forget that the goal of Barack and Michelle is the fundamental transformation of the United States of America. That is not possible without a radicalized agenda and an unAmerican politic.
Because of the timely reporting of Midknight Review in
conjunction with its more renowned partners in the Conservative Media (the
Daily Caller, The Blaze, Legal Insurrection, The Right Scoop, PowerLine, Red State, Michelle Malkin, Hannity and Limbaugh and Levin – et al ) and the attendant outcry of
thousands who took time to voice their disagreement over this socialist
strategy, the Obama Administration and the Department of Labor have
backed off its idiotic attempt to force cultural change on the family farms of
America. Just a little more than three hours ago, this evening (the
26th), the Department of Labor issued this statement:
“The decision to withdraw
this rule — including provisions to define the ‘parental exemption’ — was made
in response to thousands of comments expressing concerns about the effect of
the proposed rules on small family-owned farms. To be clear, this
regulation will not be pursued for the duration of the Obama administration.”
Senator John Thune of South Dakato, the first to go
public in his complaint of this new series of regulations, had this to
say:
“I am pleased to hear the Obama
Administration is finally backing away from its absurd 85-page proposal to
block youth from participating in family farm activities and ultimately
undermine the very fabric of rural America, but I will continue working to ensure
this overreaching proposal is completely and permanently put to rest. The
Obama DOL’s youth farm labor rule is a perfect example of what happens when
government gets too big.”
It is clear that the two day
outcry was so substantial, the
Administration even tried to distance itself from this cultural scheme (To be clear, this regulation will not be pursued for the duration of the Obama administration) in an obvious effort to end this matter as a campaign
issue. Speaking for myself, this will remain a campaign issue. I have no intentions of allowing those who
drive the Black Angst and anti-colonial efforts in this country to get away
with using words to pacify the very populace it seeks to subdue.
Point of post: take a few minutes to make note of all that those "out of power" (that would be us), have been able to accomplish in terms of preventing the massive rush to total governmental control of our society:
We start with this most recent success. Of course, after the election, Obama will reconstitute this DOL reform and America's farms will be in the hands of those who have spent a lifetime making fun of farmers and farming, as a matter of cultural course, but, for now, we have put a stop to this particular nonsense.
We stopped any and all efforts as to Cap and Trade legislation. We succeeded in affording a serious set-back to the "public option." The illegal immigrant's amnesty legislation never saw the light of day. Obama's subtle efforts at bring the United States under the larger umbrella of an expanding United Nations, the World Court and the International Monetary Fund, have quietly failed. His hopes of establishing a Palestinian nation for Middle Eastern terrorists (Hamas and related entities) has been put to bed. His efforts at taking authority over the religious institutions in our country, failed in his first efforts, using anti-discrimination laws as a disguise for his secular ambitions against "the church" (see Hosanna/Tabor Lutheran versus the EEOC and the Supreme Court's Nine to Nothing decision against Obama on this matter).
While these are negative victories, after the coming election, we conservatives need to appreciate the "second chance" we have all been given, and actually solve the major issues of the past three years. The GOP needs to offer real solutions and put them into law, but, more than this, it needs to establish a more inclusive profile when it comes to so-called "minority membership." We can no longer exist as if we were the party of the "tired old white guys." Changes have been made and minority leadership is very much on the increase. That needs to continue.
But for now, HATS OFF TO THE RESISTANCE.
