Ferrari versus Corvette

Ferrari F12 730 hp / 0 - 60 in 3 secs
Ken Lingenfelter’s 2002  Corvette
Twin Turbo 427 - fastest stock stock
ever - 0 - 60 in 1.94 seconds.

Ferrari says the  730-hp V-12 Makes F12  will hit 62 mph from a standstill in 3.1 seconds (0.2 off the all-wheel-drive Aventador's time), hitting 124 mph in 8.5 seconds on its way to a top speed "in excess of 211 mph. .It is the fastest Ferrari production car ever built,  at least,  to date.  As yet,  it does not have a price tag,  but I bet you will be able to buy two or three Vetts with the money you spend on this monster Ferrari.

I threw in the Ken Lingenfelter Vett,  modified for performance,  just to help discourage you from spending all that money for a performance car that is not spelled "v-e-t-t."  Check out  Lingenfelter's site and a competitor's performance site,  Callaway Performance down in L.A.

Update: Callaway once took a 57 Chevy 289 and "blueprinted" the engine,  giving it more than 700 horsepower without adding to the "stock car" status of the engine.  Callaway is a legend here in California

Point of post:  no point whatsoever except as a break from all the BS of this election cycle.
