Forced-Dues-For-Politics Case May Be Headed To U.S. Supreme Court

From the good folks at Labor Union Report,  we have this headline and excerpt:

SEIU Forced-Dues-For-Politics Case May Be Headed To U.S. Supreme Court

Washington, DC (September 14, 2011) National Right to Work Foundation attorneys filed the initial brief with the United States Supreme Court, which is reviewing a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that forced nonunion California state employees to fund union officials’ political activism. . . . . Allowing the Ninth Circuit’s ruling to stand would further undermine state employees’ First Amendment rights and encourage union bosses to extract more forced dues from nonunion workers as a condition of employment,” stated Mark Mix, President of the National Right to Work Foundation. “It is unconscionable for a court to force employees who want nothing to do with the union or its so-called ‘representation’ to subsidize union political activities.”

Editor's notes:  how many times in the past three years has the Obama Administration ignored Constitutional restrictions such as the First Amendment?  Less than 10% of all union members did not vote to be represented by their union,  yet it happens daily.  Unions and Obama routinely oppose our right to work for whomever we choose;  they force us to pay for political causes we do not support;  they seek to limit conservative talk via the "Fairness Doctrine;"  they tell companies which states are off limits for company expansion;  they decide which laws they will enforce;  they refuse to prosecute any blacks involved in voter fraud complaints;  they refuse to obey legal requests for documents,  offering no legal reasons for their refusal,  simply telling the inquiring agencies or congressional committees "no . . . . . . . .   arrest us."  Obama continues to refuse the will of congress as dictated by law and he legislates via regulation, an affront to the separation of powers.  I could go on,  but you get the drift.  He is an out of control,  rogue president and needs to be gone.
