The purge is on. Gore and company intend to take down all meteorologists denying global warming.

Global warming activists seek to purge 'deniers' among local weathermen - TheDC

Al Gore

'Our goal is nothing short of changing how the entire profession of meteorology tackles the issue of climate change'

The totality of the assault mounted by the radicalized Left is simply mind blowing.  What a time in which we are living.

Concerned that too many “deniers” are in the meteorology business, global warming activists this month launched a campaign to recruit local weathermen to hop aboard the alarmism bandwagon and expose those who are not fully convinced that the world is facing man-made doom.

The Forecast the Facts campaign — led by 350.org, the League of Conservation Voters and the Citizen Engagement Lab — is pushing for more of a focus on global warming in weather forecasts, and is highlighting the many meteorologists who do not . . . . . . The full article is at the Daily Caller.

  1. So all the scientists and the US military who are citing the evidence and presenting the facts of global climate change are the crazy ones, while the tiny fringe minority of TV weather presenters, angry Republicans who don't want their industries regulated, and demented conspiracy theorists are the sane ones. It's a topsy-turvy world for the denialists, isn't it?

I thought conservatives were supposed to be pro-military and supported the funding of NASA? Suddenly conservative pundits know more about science than NASA and the US Military?

“Climate change is a national security challenge with strategic implications for the Navy. …A preponderance of global observational evidence shows the Arctic Ocean is losing sea ice, global temperatures are warming, sea level is rising, large landfast ice sheets (Greenland and Antarctic) are losing ice mass, and precipitation patterns are changing…. Climate change is affecting, and will continue to affect, U.S. military installations world- wide. Melting permafrost is degrading roads, foundations, and structures on DoD and USCG installations in Alaska. Droughts in the southeast and southwest U.S. are challenging water resource management. Sea level rise and storm surge will lead to an increased likelihood of inundation of coastal infrastructure, and may limit the availability of overseas bases.”

It the mind of an ignorant wingnut conspiracy theorist, any level of denial and idiocy is possible. These are the same people who believe in a magical being that rose from the dead and walked on water, yet are in denial of what our best science and military say is fact.

    How about that?

If that's not a mental illness, I'd say it's at least a personality disorder.
