Newt wants to colonize the moon and proves himself to be a serious lunatic.

Newt has mentioned colonizing the moon,  before.  It was not well received and last night,  it really bombed.

• Romney responded by telling us that he would fire Newt,  for having that idea.
• Santorum reminded us all that this is the time we need to be discussing less spending.
• And Ron Paul seemed to think it a good idea if we were sending some politicians there (to moon).

Instead of letting this idea go as the loser it is,  Newt has decided to double down on the notion and,  in so doing, lose even more ground as he struggles to remain competitive in the Florida primary.  Understand that 50 delegate votes are in the offering in Florida,  winner takes all. It will be huge game changer,  I think. 

Next primary:  Florida,  this coming Tuesday,  Jan 31st. 

There are four primaries in the month of February. The talking heads believe that these favor Romney and Newt does not have a debate to lean on until the end of that month.
