You libs are absolutely ridiculous. You hate the Patriot Act. Your Hollywood cronies produced one Law and Order movie after another based on the theme of an evil George Bush running around busting citizens using the Patriots Act and now, Obama and the Libs accept totalitarianism, allowing the military to arrest or detain folks without cause and without legal options. You rejected the waterboarding of three terrorists (count 'em, three) but gleefully kill dozens of terrorist with your anonymous, Death by Drone, campaign. You hate war but are happy to participate in an Afghan War, a Libyan War and an Egyptian "Intervention." Your president talks about respecting the Sovereignty of other nations but orders Israel around like it was one of his puppet states and invades Pakistan to kill bin Laden . . . . not a bad thing, just grossly hypocritical.

Update: here is a timely, to the point, comment taken from Forbes that I believe is germane to this discussion. You read and you decide:
"So despite the Sixth Amendment’s guarantee of a right to trial, the Senate bill would let the government lock up any citizen it swears is a terrorist, without the burden of proving its case to an independent judge, and for the lifespan of an amorphous war that conceivably will never end." Forbes.

Understand that GOP members signed onto this bill as well.

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:

July 2, 2008, Obama had this to say: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
