Gingrich might be on the wave of a serious game changer in the primaries.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A Las Vegas billionaire with ties to Newt Gingrich has given $5 million to an independent group backing the former House Speaker's presidential bid. . . .

Understand that Newt has not had the money to fight back against the negative ads of the opposition GOP candidates,  at least,  not until now.  Is it too late?

Time will tell, but it does appear that we are about to be introduced to a much more aggressive Speaker.  You have to give the man credit for trying to keep the primary contest civil.  Ron Paul has proven to be a mud slinger of monumental fame,  as has Mitt Romney.  Will Newt have time to put some of this new money to work in New Hampshire?  I don't know,  and I do not believe that he should.  South Carolina is just around the corner,  and if it is not good to Newt,  he has lost his opportunity for the presidency.
