Obama is almost glibly cutting our military force and moving it into the Pacific theater where the Chinese are adding to their 12 million man military edifice. What about the Middle East? Apparently, he has surrendered that to the Militant Muslim community. It is just amazing as to how much damage this prolific idiot has been able to render upon this nation. Here is a little context to the continuing Obama military strategy:
Part of the
reduction of our Armed Forces under Obama,
includes his move against our flattop carrier fleet. The military is required by law to maintain
an 11 carrier fleet. Each carrier stages
80 aircraft and more than 7,000 sailors.
Each carrier is part of a larger grouping of ships that can include a guided missile cruiser, a nuclear sub, at least one supply ship, a couple of guided missile
ships, amphibious assault ships and a
battleship group.
There are only 10
individual navies in this world with flattop carriers, 22 carriers in total.
Six of the 10 navies have only one carrier; three nations with two carriers. One of the countries is
Russia, no surprise there. But the other two are Italy and Spain. China has none. Germany and Japan cannot have a
military.
We own half of all the carriers in this world. Think we are safe? So do the pointie heads from Harvard, with their idealism and mathematical models.
Obama
intends on cutting $488 billion out of the military budget without seriously addressing waste, fraud and corruption -- at least, there was not a word of such, the other day. This spending reduction will be the result of cutting ground
troops by 100,000 and eliminating the F-35, for starters. We are told that this will leave us with a one front war
capability, but, of course,
that is what we had while fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan and we are cutting that army. Add to this
rather scary arms reduction, the elimination of one, maybe two, of our flattop carriers (“saving”
760 billion dollars per ship) and you could have more than 1.8 trillion in extra money to spend here at home on welfare programs and the reorganization of the nation's form of governance (I assume that is what "fundamental transformation is all about. What else could it be?)
Understand
that China has a potential military
force of "fit male personnel" of 310 million with 10 million coming of military
age each year (CIA report – 2006)
China is
spending just 4.5% of its GDP on its military complex. “Potential” armed forces strength aside, China actually has 8.8 million in its ground forces (source link) plus its navy and air force personnel . . . . .
and Obama is telling us that he is moving into
the Pacific Theater with a meaner, leaner force that is not capable of fighting
a multifaceted war. What in the H does
he think a 10 or 12 million man army is if not the equivalent of a 4 front war?
We all know how he fights a war -- cut and run. That is what he is doing in the Middle East and deserting the Israelis in the process. Would he fight for Taiwan? Of course not. That would take backbone and loyalty.
And such is what I have to report, tonight.
