The populace feelings against the war in Iraq are nowhere close to the negatives of the Viet Nam era. Ron "If I don't win, I will start my own party" Paul will not be able to ride anti-war opinions to a GOP nomination, and I am really tired of him.
Trust me, if he wins Iowa, that will be it. His doctrine of isolationism is a death sentence to this country; most voters know this. And his refusal to defuse rumors of a third party run has done him in, on this blog.
He is a registered Republican, not a Libertarian, so which is it? In my humble but rather angry opinion, you cannot be both. Only the worst kind of opportunist would think otherwise.
