Larry Sabato, well respected pollster out of the University of Virginia, told FoxNews just this morning, that "all the rules for the GOP primary season are off." It is not too late to get into the GOP race. In fact, a February/March deadline might be the case. Such changes have not been in vogue within the GOP for 40 years.
After hearing this news, the first thoughts of those at Fox allowed for a resurgent candidacy for Sarah Palin. I have to tell you that as I listen to the good Governor, I really do not see the fire in her soul for this effort, so I don't give this suggestion much weight. Our disappointment is her disappointment. You can see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice. She was on Hannity, yesterday, I believe. Very subdued. I believe I saw the moment this change of attitude occurred - when the media dug up that affair Sarah supposedly had with a college aged basketball player back in her college (and single) days. Personally, I believe that it was at that time, Sarah saw just how far these jerks will go to keep her from pursuing her dream --- to the loss of us all.
I author a political blog, other than this one, that has 15 times the site traffic of this blog. While it is not dedicated, overtly, to the Palin Doctrine, it is fully reflective of her beliefs and political priorities. After being almost angry with Palin, for backing down, I have come to realize just how emotionally costly a conservative candidacy can be. Look at Herman Cain. Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that none of the four women charging him with misconduct, are telling the truth. There is every reason to believe that the media intended to pursue that course of attack, regardless. There would have been a fifth, a sixth, a seventh bimbo coming forward. In fact, I believe the attacks were designed to cause Gloria Cain to feel enough suspicion that Herman had no choice but to quit the race. And that is exactly what happened. Understand that many in the Leftist Media have no college degrees (ala Al Sharpton, Ed Shultz, and Brian Williams of NBC News) at all and are as compromised as Hugh Hefner.
Understand that the attacks on Cain and Palin were not simply about politics. The Marxist Media was determined to destroy the families of these individuals as well. That is how these bloodsuckers work. Do any of you know how long we have been reading media accounts of a pending Palin divorce? It has been years. There are stories out there of Todd committing to an affair. They have gone after the Palin's children and made fun of baby Trig. The Leftist media is filled with white and black trash, reporters willing to say and do anything to win their goal.
Anyway, should she be interested or willing to put herself in the middle of the firestorm, again, it is not too late for a Palin candidacy. The only way we can break the back of these Leftist morons is to commit to the journey until we are successful - proving their strategy no longer works. Is that possible? We won't know until someone from the patriot community sucks it up and make the effort. Easy for me to say, I know, but it is the truth.
Update: Rush Limbaugh has just reported that the National Enquirer has dug up a supposed affair Newt had with a staffer some 32 years ago, proving one of the points of this post. These people are absolute scum, who care nothing about making money, traitors to the cause of freedom, and undeserving of any attention coming from those of us who really care about this nation's health and well being.
You seem to dismiss all the crap that comes out about Democratic candidates. This isn't a left wing conspiracy man, its politics.
ReplyDeleteNewt has plenty of skeletons in his closet. Newt has absolutely no credibility when it comes to affairs and womanizing. He has a long history of admitted indiscretions. Anyone who trusts Newt is extremely naive. Naivety is usually an endearing human quality.
I really do wish the GOP had some kind of credible candidate. I would seriously consider voting Republican if someone with integrity were to run against Obama.
Did you vote for Bill Clinton? I am betting you did - and his sexual scandals were real. If you did vote for the man, so much for your moralist stance against Newt.
ReplyDeleteYou trust Obama? Answer me this: when did he quite doing blow? Did he ever deal cocaine in view of the fact that he was a user? Who bought his stash? Who paid his way through college and grad school? Where in the hell are his students? None, as in "no not one," has come forward to brag about his teaching skills. Where in the hell are his transcripts? Why the secrecy as to Obama? Why has Politico not pursued the Larry Sinclair story? Was there any truth to Sinclair's account of an affiar with Obama? Is that why there are no women in Obama's background? Do you have any idea how many promises your man has violated -- proving that he is not to be trusted with anything he says?
Newt has been out of politics for more than a decade. Do you allow for a philosophical change of mind with him?
Understand that I do not necessarily believe all that I just written, but why is Obama not vetted as is Cain or Sarah Palin on those matters? And, why don't I have the right to expect that he should be so vetted?
Finally, there is no comparison between the treatment of conservatives and Democrats by the Scum Media, no comparison at all.
You know that 95% of the information I put out on this blog is found or verified in Leftist media. I spend 5 or 6 hours a day, reading the reporting of the white trash at MSNBC or the Times or Politico or . . . . . whereever. Trust me, there is no moral equivalence between the two side.
I did not vote for Clinton but I would have if I had the chance. I'm not saying that Newt has no credibility JUST because he's a womanizer. I'm just saying that a guy with his long history of changing political positions and gross moral hypocrisy doesn't really deserve much credibility.

And remember the rumor that he was a muslim and the one where he wasn't born in the US. Honestly the only guy I can't remember hearing a bunch of crazy dirt on was Gore.

Actually, the "press" did none of those things. Those questions I asked? Nothing from the Scum Media. Nothing. Those other things? all came from the right wing media.
Ok, ok, you're not a liberal. I kind of don't believe that, but I will let that go. It is just that almost everything you say comes out of a liberal talking-points guide.
Although . . . . . . there was that one post you sent me about a month or two ago. You had several points on it about changes that you would endorse. I was going to post that response. I thought it was great. Remember what time of the year you wrote that?
Understand that guys like me are not overly enthusiastic about the Newt.
But, if it is going to be between someone and Obama, then Newt will get my vote.
