If everyone bought an electric car, tomorrow, how in the "H" would we pay for highway repairs since such repairs are funded by gas taxes?

Understand that if Obama could force us all to buy electric cars, he would. We know this because he has slowed oil drilling in this country, for just that reason. So , what was his plan for funding highway repairs, since that funding comes from gasoline taxes? Maybe someone in the Stinking Media should ask Obama. Surely, he was not thinking of increasing taxes on the rich, for that expense, also?
