From Pew Research, we can draw these conclusions:
When
"Conservative" is pitched against "Liberal," Libs
lose 50 to 62 percent.
When
"socailism" is pitted against "capitalism," it loses
31 to 50 percent.
When
"liberal," "conservative" and "progressive"
are named together, "progress" has a more popular feel by 3
points over "conservative" and 17 points over "liberal."
On this last
point, understand that "progressive" is not a word
limited by years of political bias. It is not a statement as to the
political preference of the nation; only the likability of the word(s)
itself.
