The super committee fails and what is Obama's first reaction?

Original Commentary by J Smithson
I really am tired of this Obama guy. I hate abject incompetence, especially when it is actually used as a campaign strategy !! If you are a regular visitor to this site, you know there is a repetition to several themes and certain statistical concerns. I allow for comments, but do not want this blog to be one that records endless and mindless chatter between or among pundits. This is an opinion blog, my opinion blog, and I have been working on its format and content since 2007; been shut down once and worry that it will happen again. So far, I remain free, however.

Understand that I am what the Dems hate to see, a common man, a proud carpenter and motorcycle riding fool. I like plaid shirts, denim jeans, my biker vest complete with an American flag and eagle on its back side and sitting in the middle of a subdivision, joking and laughing with my blue collar buds. I like red beer and bible study. I cuss a little and care a lot about this country. And I wish some of Obama's buds lived next door to me on those occasions when they call me a teabagger or make fun of my family values.

I hate gossip and seldom report on anything that has devolved into that rhetorical sink hole. Two years ago, I was amazed at how many significant stories needed to be covered during a single week. With this Loser in our White House, it was one very important matter after another every two or three days. Now, years later, during this Thanksgiving week, there is almost nothing of significance to report. He is in the midst of his two year campaign to get himself re-elected, all while the world and this country go down in flames. Honestly, this quit being a partisan issue for me a long time ago . . . . . about the time he made fun of John McCain for defending "a plumber."

Today, Monday, we heard about the failure of the "super committee" at no surprise to any of us. I am glad they got nowhere. I no longer trust the Democrat Party any further than I can vomit. Time and time again, their "hallmark" legislation has been passed only to find that new agencies were authorized, new regulator powers created, hidden taxes passed and so on. It happens with all their legislation. Understand that they do not take from the rich and give to the poor. If they did, the poor would be rich already. Instead, they take from the middle class working stiff and give that money to those who will keep them in power.

Because of Obama's policies, my wife and I - thoroughly "middle class" - know that several thousand dollars will have to be spent on our home before we can sell the thing, in order to meet newly instituted environmental rules. Each of the past two years, Obama cut our cost of living increases for Social Security, costing us about $400 a month or nearly $5,000 annually, never to be recovered. Gas has increased from $ 2.24, locally, to $3.56 a gallon, because he refuses to increase drilling and, in fact, has pulled back on same. That additional cost amounts to $1,000 each year. He is now talking about getting rid of the home interest deduction, something that will cost my wife and me $2,000 a year in additional taxes. I have no doubt that if the Republicans agree to anything these Marxist pigs have in mind, we can kiss off that deduction; it will be hidden in the next bill, somewhere -- in fact, it is reported that is a part of the American Jobs Act, now.

And he pretends that he is on the side of the little guy. If he is successful in hiding the repeal of the home interest deduction, this piece of work some call "president," will have increased my taxable situation by $7,000 per year !!

So much for not "balancing the budget on the backs of the poor and middle class."

And now, I have to report that the first thing this man-child did after hearing the news of the super committee's admitted failure, was to run and skip down the hallway, no doubt sliding around the corner, on the polished floor leading to the press room, bounding onto his little stage and gleefully announcing, "It's the Republican's fault, mommy." Heck, he blames the GOP for his legislative failures in 2009 - 2010, when, in point of fact, they had nothing to do with his failures. They - the GOP - couldn't have stopped the Dems from forcing them to set outside the halls of congress, on the steps of the White House, for those two years, while he and his Marxist regime did their thing behind closed doors. Come to think of it, that is exactly what they did - "behind closed doors" - for two stinking years - and some of you want to keep them in power!!??

I will tell you what I am going to do. I am going to join the Democrat Party, tomorrow, and work from inside that party to get this clown out of the election process, altogether. Anyone care to join me?

  1. Every poll taken in the past year shows Americans want higher taxes on the rich and big business. 67% in the lastest CNN Poll.

That is what America wants... the position is clear, it's not even close.

What part of this do you not understand?

Even Ronald Reagan agreed with this.
