You've heard "Better red than dead?" Well, after looking at this map, you'll be saying. "I believe !!"



I will let you all figure this out, but, as things stand right now, this (on the right) is what the electoral map looks like at this point in time. Red, of course, is Right leaning.

The left hand map is the electoral college map with the electoral values super imposed onto each state. It takes 270 electoral votes to win an election.

Referring to the left hand map, I believe that Wisconsin, Oregon, Indiana, New Hampshire, and New York are "in play," as things stand today. Of course, this is all tentative. In the case of New York, a surprising fact is this: Obama won the state by 55% . Al Gore, by way of contrast, won the state (2000 vs Bush) by 62%.
