Anyone know who Joe Scarborbough is ? Well, he is a Baptist. A registered Republican. He served in the US Congress as representative from District 1, in Florida and quit, back in the early 2000's, discouraged with the hold that congressional party politics held over the congress.
He was elected in 1994, and reelected in '96. '98 and 2000 - with more than 70% of the vote. He was Mr Everything Conservative while serving in the House of Representatives.
Today, he has his own morning show, serving the Marxist Left at MSNBC. He continues to function as a "conservative" but often crosses "the line," in his commentary on "Morning Joe."
Since joining the radicalized wing of NBC news network, he has seldom met a conservative Republican he does not think is a "nut case," and in recent weeks, has made fun of the GOP primary candidates.
On September 21, he denounced Romney and Perry for their criticism of Obama's Israeli policy. Scarborough ignores the fact that Obama failed Israel on many occasions, one of the reasons why Obama has lost a huge percentage of the Jewish vote. He has refused to step foot in that country since becoming president. He has threatened to reveal secret information regarding Israel and its nuclear arsenal. He has humiliated Netanyahu on more than one occasion, walking out on the Prime Minister during an evening conference, refusing a joint photo op with the man on another occasion, and demanding that Israel do things "his way" (Obama's way). This is not to mention the 1.3 billion dollars Obama has funneled to Gaza during his three years in office.
In a recent Facebook whatever, he wrote this: “The degree and timing of of these GOP candidate's criticism was un-American and un-presidential. Obama was alone on the world stage standing shoulder to shoulder with Israel, and these baggers actually attempt to weaken Obama, and thus Israel, right when Israel finds itself more isolated then ever. Just another example of what Republican's 'country first' attitude is really all about.”
Of course, "bagger" is short for the filthy term, "teabagger," something for which someone should give Sacrborough a healthy slap to the face, and, yes, I am serious. More than this, he is critical of the very thing Democrats do when a Republican is president, as a matter of party policy. Further, it is laughable that he regrets the isolation of Israel, when it has been the personal agenda of Obama to sequester Israel. Obama's diligence at working to establish Palestine as a morally equivalent option to Israel is a well established fact and, apparently, Morning Joe likes the idea. Finally, his put down of "country first" is further evidence that this man has slipped from the ranks of the patriot nation into the effective clutches of the Marxist controlled Left.
On September 27, he wrote this in the Leftist Political: "Always remember one simple rule: crazy never wins . . . guys like my dad do not gamble on candidates such as Michele Bachmann and Newt Gingrich. . . . .guys like my dad tune out politicians who compare opponents to Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler."
And with that remark, Scarborough proved himself no better than Ed Shultz or Keith Olbermann, willing to lie at a moments notice to advance a Leftist agenda.
He is at it again, this past week, ridiculing the current crop of Republicans and missing the point about Obama and his extreme socialist agenda . . . . . or maybe he doesn't miss the point, at all.
One thing for certain, Scarborough is a wolf in sheep's clothing, not more and nothing less.
