The conservative hordes continue to advance their cause on the way to taking the back GOP and this United States of America

The Unforgiven: RNC Chairman Reince Priebus Says Florida Must Pay the Price for Moving Primary

This is a headline for a cBS News story. The headline and related story illustrates “part of the problem,” from a conservative point of view. While Obama and his Marxist minions must be defeated, so too, the Establishment/RINO wing of the GOP. Time for this bunch of losers to be gone.

Look at what we have: an Establishment Party angry because its “rules” were not being followed. This is the kind of meaningless nonsense that must be defeated. Understand that the rules are fine, but retaliation for “violating” the rules is not.

If a political party does not allow for free expression whether individual, organizational (i.e. TEA movement) or state by state, it is just another form of governance responsible for repressing the will of the people. For too long, the Establishment GOP has pre-ordained its presidential candidate and set the campaign agenda. Why on earth do you think Bob Doyle got the nomination in 1994? Answer: Bob (a wonderful fellow) was next in line. Absolutely no one thought he was going to win. Let’s not forget John McCain. 5 million conservatives told the GOP to take a hike in 2008 because of John McCain . . . . the compromising RINO from hell.

Understand that an organization that has the word “party” in its title should never get overly serious about itself

Florida is not the only state involved with the latest RINO GOP controversy. New Hampshire and South Carolina also changed their primary calendars “without permission.” The delegations from these three states will be given only half the designated number of convention passes, and, more critically, half their number of ballot allocations. And who is harmed? The conservative side of the aisle. While the punitive rule has been there, all along, this is the sort of thing that has decimated the Grand Old Party. The Establishment does not want to let go and the conservative hordes are telling them to get lost.

Should you read our hyperlinked article, you would discover that the National Republican Party “inherited” 14 million dollars in debt under the past president, Michael Steele. It’s all Steele’s fault. That is what the Establishment wants you to believe. The fact of the matter is much different. Most of that deficit is the result of the conservative base of the party revolting against the party line, because of the McCain nomination.

The “revolt” began with the 2006 elections. In that campaign cycle, the base did not turn out for the mid-term elections, as it had in the past, and, the GOP lost both houses of congress. The base was angry with the excessive spending of the Bush years and disgusted with the election strategy that refused to offer substantive choices in terms of ideas and candidates. The notion that “we cannot win” with truly conservative ideas and representatives was being rejected.

The Establishment GOP did not get the message, however. It continued to celebrate far Left characters such as Michael Bloomberg and Arnold Swarzenegger. It produced the “gang of 14” and totally caved in to the militants in the Democrat Party. Bush issued only one veto during his time in office. Although much liked, GW did much harm to the conservative agenda.

Along came the historic 2008 elections and Barack Hussein Obama. “We” all knew the seriousness of the coming campaign. Sean Hannity argued and argued with his callers, “If you use this election to send your message, you just might be selling out America. “ But time had run out for the RINO wing of the party. The conservative majority within the party sent this message, “Try winning an election without our help.” And 5 million of the “faithful” stayed away from the voting booth. As if that was not enough of a message, they took control of the next election cycle and destroyed the Establishment Liberalism in both parties in 2010.

The message? We are here to stay. We are deadly serious about what must be done. We are prepared to chance defeat. We are not afraid of offering the American people real choices couched in conservative, constitutional rhetoric . . . . a winning combination of priorities if I ever saw one. Time for talk is over, time for change that matters is now. . . . and the Grand Old Party had better stop playing games.
