He begins his 2012 campaign on April 4, 2011. If we count 16 months of campaigning at 5 hours per day on a 22 day month, we have a total of 2430 hours or 304 8 hour days.

In his first year he gave 726 speeches, personal appearances, interviews, townhalls and fund raisers. At 3 hours per event counting travel time, we are looking at 309 days our of 365, doing nothing but talk, talk, talk.

This total was down for 2010, but still in the 500 range for speeches and public appearances. Add another 170 days (a conservative measure).

All this add up to 883 8 hour days compared to a 4 year total of 1460 days
