That jobs bill given to congress last Thursday? Well, he did not have the bill until today and will wait for two weeks before sending it to Congress.

Yes, that is the rumor. Obama wants to campaign with his bill in hand, before sending it to Congress. And look at the thing. He held it up and said, "Here it is" as if proving to "the whole world" that he had actually gotten something done. It was not even in a binder but in a large paper clip. Most bills . . . . . heck, all bills come packaged in a soft cover binding of some sort. Not this bill, proving, of course, that this is still being written. One thing for certain - on august 15th, when he first made reference to this bill, there was no bill. He was just making things up, off the top of his pointee little head.

Turns out that it is a collection of old Jimmy Carter ideas and Republican failed suggestions. It is one massive retread and has no ability, as a piece of legislation, of turning the economy around. Why? It does nothing to solve the problems that are responsible for the continuing recession.
