Only those who voted for the ceiling relief bill can be on the "super committee" -- fact or fiction??? We have the answer.

The rumor is this: those who voted against the debt ceiling relief bill will not be allowed onto the supper committee designated by congress and composed of congressmen. That is the rumor. I listened to Mitch McConnell last night on Greta. She asked and he convinced me that no such restriction exists. Probably more lies from the Left.

It is maddening that we could not cut more, this first go-around, but, at least, we are headed in the right direction. Those of us on the Right should know that this is only the beginning. In times past, this sort of deal would have been made and we, as a nation, would have moved on. Not this time. We are at critical mass and most thinking citizens in this country know it. China has or is about to downgrade our credit rating. Understand that a downgrade is not the end of the world. Only three countries in the entire world have a "triple A" rating, the US, Norway or some such country, and Germany. China does not. Neither do the Russians or Great Britain. So we would survive and the uptick in interest within this country, resulting from a downgrade, would take several years to have its full effect. The real problem, of course, is that this is simply the wrong time for an increase in interest rates, no matter how small.

At any rate, we have much work to do to recapture this nation from the subversives who have conspired (for decades) to capture this country's wealth and put it in their back pockets while pretending to be helping the needy of the world.
