Budget Talks Sour, Dems Blame Tea Party for Stalemate as Deadline Looms
That is the days "most important" domestic headline. Understand that the Democrats were always going to blame the TEA party; they [the Dems] were never planning on compromising with the GOP on the new and temporary CR. They believe that if they can wait until the GOP forces substantial cuts, they can blame the resulting governmental shutdown on them (the GOP) , as they were able to do back in the mid- 1990's.Point of post: the above headline was "written" many months ago, perhaps more than a year ago. The only question as to this strategy is this: have the Democrats misunderstood the present political/social climate? Time will tell . . . . . before the end of April.
The GOP needs our support.
Stock market - best 1st Quarter since '98. Unemployment down 4th month in a row... but don't fret teabaggers, your agenda is paying off: CEO pay rose 27%, just 2% for everyone else.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the CEOs and Koch brothers can get together and buy the teabaggers an election?
What can you say about a group that is led by Michele Bachmann?
Check her record.
We have the Koch brothers and you have Jeff Immelt and George Soros; one is failed CEO and the other a communist. I'll go with the Koch brothers.
