Why you can't trust those first Wisconsin polls - they are conducted by Democrats.

The following is a question used in a robo-polling call:

As you may know, Gov. Scott Walker has proposed a plan to limit the pay of government workers and teachers, increase their share of the cost of benefits, and strip some public-employ[ee] unions of much of their power. We’d like to know if APPROVE or DISAPPROVE of Gov. Walker’s plan

Of course, the question misrepresents what is happening in Wisconsin. But the question was asked and the negative results were released. Headlines read, "People of Wisconsin do not support the Governor's plan." This is exactly why folks cannot put trust in such polling nonsense.

To think that I used to be a Democrat. That party has become such an embarrassment, resorting to lies, illegal activities and sheer chaos to get their way. Like it or not, "elections have consequences." When was the last time we heard that? Obama to John McCain.

Well, this statement was never more true than in Wisconsin. The midterm elections this past November saw a new Republican governor replace the Democrat governor. The two state houses of congress flipped from Democrat control to the GOP and the super secure Russ Feingold was soundly beaten by a man named Ron Johnson. Obama won this state in 2008 by 15 points.

You can poll the population all you want, but the only poll that counts was held three months ago. You have the results, above. And they are not helping their cause with all this commotion. The House and the Senate in that state are in the hands of the Republican's plain and simple, fair and square. If the Dems want things to be different , they need to win the next election. That is how America works. Third world tactics are not the way of our political process.

What we are witnessing, however, is a political party with no barriers. They will do whatever needs to be done to get their way. We saw many of their tactics in the 111th congress, most profoundly a giddy willingness to rule as if they were the only party in town; ruling against the expressed will of the people; cramming their legislative agenda down the throats of the voters who brought them into power.

  1. Smithson swears by Rasmussen. Statistically proven to be most biased and inaccurate, but they tell Smithson what he wants to hear.

  2. We have dealt with this lie, before. William refuses to change his rhetoric, however. Rasmussen has been acclaimed by Dems and Republican congressmen alike. Even accepted Liberal blogs and news sources see Rasmussen as one of the most reliable polling sources in the nation.

Understand that Rasmussen often reports what this editor dislikes, but we accept it. Nothing William says in the above is actually true. This is what a person comes up with as he rides around town on his bicycle , thinking of ways to save the planet.
