In late morning reports, the press is telling us of orders or requests from the Wisconsin teacher's union for the teachers to get back to work. We believe that this order is evidence of internal polling data showing the union losing ground with the voters of Wisconsin.
As we have argued in a post on the scroll down, this morning, the union has made a huge mistake in terms of strategy. They could have won this battle in California. It appears that they will lose this battle in Wisconsin. California voters still think that spending out of control is a good thing. I know. I live in this crazed state . . . born and raised. Wisconsin voters told the state, last November, they "get it." They voted Russ Feingold out of office, a major shock to the liberal establishment. Heck, a major shock to conservative pundits such as myself. They voted out their Democrat Governor and flipped both state houses of congress to Republican.
No, we think Wisconsin gets it. And, now, the state's teachers are about to be taught the lesson. And to think there where those who were singing "the death of conservatism" just 26 months ago.
Thanks Obama, for everything. . . . . . well, maybe not for everything. But, you get the point, no??
Update and we told you so: 48% Back GOP Governor in Wisconsin Spat, 38% Side With Unions
