Don't be fooled. Obama is every bit as anti-business as he has ever been.

Yesterday, in an interview with Bill O'Reilly, Obama denied that he was a social justice, redistributionist geek (our word). But here are the words of Obama, just this morning, speaking before the Chamber of Commerce.

"If we're fighting to reform the tax code and increase exports, the benefits cannot just translate into greater profits and bonuses for those at the top. They have to be shared by American workers, who need to know that opening markets will lift their standard of living as well as your bottom line."

One of the themes in Midknight Review is the convoluted rhetoric of the man who calls himself "president."

Never forget his first campaign encounter . . . . . with Joe the Plumber as he stood before this American, in the man's front yard, and proclaimed the value of "spreading the wealth" so that others would have a chance for a better life. That is our first memory of the man. When he denied being a redistributionist on O'Reilly, we all began scratching our heads in amazement, Had he abandoned his social justice agenda? Of course not !! And the confusion was cleared up within 24 hours with the statement we have documented, above.

Understand that we expect more of this "in your face" misrepresentation of the Obama agenda as the 2012 election cycle advances . . . . . . . by Obama. On the one hand "this," on the other hand, "that."

You have our first example in the above. A second example is Obama's pretense at being partners with small business and the Chamber of Commerce, while, at the same time (last week), the Department of Labor was announcing a new policy as to the way it will handle worker's complaint in the future. Rather than having hearings or going through a mediation process, the DoL will give complaining workers a toll-free number directly to the American Bar Association. Lawyers will be made available on a contingency basis (that means "for profit") and complaints will be handled by those who have the ability to sue the employer. In this decision, Obama has, again, proven himself to be an enemy of the business community. An absolute disgrace.

Point of post: Obama's class warfare is as strong ever. The business of taking from those who come up with innovative ideas and assume all the risk in the creation of product, and giving their profits to those who show up for "work," and spend much of their time in the bathroom smoking pot or trying to figure out how to get out of doing an honest days work is wrong headed on its face.

Too harsh? Not really. Over the years, this editor has been taken off to the side and told to slow down on the amount of work I got done. "You're making us look bad" had been said to me over and over again. And, I am not the only one who has been told to "stand down."

The following scenario is exactly how the Socialist Dems, like Obama, want things to work:

I come up with a great idea. I go out and convince folks as to the viability of my idea. I buy property and build on that property. I hire a sales force and commit thousands of dollars to advertising. Then the day for manufacturing my product begins. And a union organizer comes in and takes my business from me. They leave me with the risk, the indebtedness, the manufacturing costs and OSHA regulations. They even tell me how much I am allowed to make selling my own stinking idea.

That is what Obama is working for. This is what Obama is all about NOW, in this economy, at this time.

End Notes:

ABA partners with the Department of Labor: the documentation is HERE.

We are about to see a clearing of the way for frivolous lawsuit after frivolous lawsuit. Businesses will have to budget for the quick resolution of workers' complaints. It puts the worker more in control. BS lawsuits can cost $60,000 or more to craft a "motion to dismiss;" 60,000 dollars just to get rid of a frivolous lawsuit.
