Truth in accuracy: last month, the first time unemployed average was 9.58 %. That number went up nearly a point to 9.64%. In other words, first time unemployed applicants increased last month. The 42 cents of every dollar spent by Congress is borrowed money. The "U-6" unemployed/underemployed rate is 17%. down from 17.1%. At the height of this current recession, this U-6 number was close to 21%.
Two very sad statistics are these:
The number of unemployed for more than 27 weeks INCREASED to 6,206 . This number is equal to 41% of all the unemployed.
The second telling statistic concerns itself with manufacturing payrolls; they declined 7,000 from
the previous months decline of -6,000 jobs.
