‘They talk about me like a dog’ — MILWAUKEE - Two years after appearing here on Labor Day to kick off the final stretch of his historic campaign, President Obama returned Monday to speak to union members, in a starkly different political environment. — The Democrats, on the ascent at Obama's 2008 . . . .
Editor's notes: he walks onto the stage knowing that he is the most popular yahoo in the house, and he is. But he never really talks to anyone but the "choir." He rejected the opportunity to govern the "other" half of the nation, the folks with the Bibles and guns and the Constitution and did so almost from his first day in office.
Here is an excerpt from this speech: "Look, the bottom line is this: These guys, they just don’t want to give up on that economic philosophy that they have been peddling for most of the last decade. You know that philosophy — you cut taxes for millionaires and billionaires; you cut all the rules and regulations for special interests. . . . . . ."
Folks know that the Bush tax cuts extended to all segments of the population including the half that does not pay any taxes. Yes, the payouts to folks who do not pay income taxes was started under Bush, maybe under Clinton. Know that Obama's "special interests" include his election gathering army, ACORN, the big money leaders in the Unions, and hundreds of . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . corporate leaders.
Understand these millionaires and billionaires are people like the Rockefellers, the Kennedies, even folks like the very unhappy George Soros - who all started as "common folk" working for the "man," all Democrats. Obama, himself, is one of these millionaires he criticizes. Last year, this Chief Prima Donna earned more than 5 million dollars. Most of his Congressional friends are "millionaires and billionaires." as well.
While Obama pretends to be talking about the "middle class," he is only talking about folks that do not work for a living and union workers, period. The picture included in this post is representative of the 75 million or so Americans that constitute the real middle class. Take a long look at that picture after enlarging the photo and count the millionaires and billionaires in the picture. We did and came up with . . . . . . . . . zero.
He drew a ling in the sand more than a year ago, a line that excluded ALL the folks represented in our photo. And now, it is time to pay for his childish and divisive rhetoric. He is angry and empty. And his ability to talk and talk and talk will not work this time around. Let's put a thousand bucks on that wager !!
