The Tea Party and other right-wing, racist groups have been holding marches, turning out voters and intimidating politicians. We need to show the country and elected officials that they do not represent this country. We do!
Who we are:
The Ya-Ya Network is a non-profit youth led social justice organization focusing primarily on Counter-Military Recruitment. We participate in various campaigns, mobilizations and coalitions across the city, state and nation. We also educate, outreach and provide resources on many different issues impacting both youth and adults. We are committed to challenging the issues that impact young people. As leaders, the youth of the Ya-Ya Network are committed to building the next generation of activists in the movement for social, economic and racial justice. We are actively anti-racist, anti-sexist and allies to the L.G.B.T community and anyone who is for the power of the people.
What we do:
We are currently one of the few groups made up primarily of youth of color who are active in the counter-military recruitment movement. . . . ya ya youth activists
Editor's notes: in this post, we have documentation of a Marxist lead group of black young people influenced by those willing to use them to accomplish what these young people do not understand. These are part of the gathering in Washington DC, this coming Saturday, to counter the 800,000 gathered at the 8/28 event. Check out the site.
