Results are in: Public opinion said "No !" to Obama's Iraq speech.

Just in case you missed the real headline of the day, the Old Media didn't bother to report the final results regarding public opinion and Obama's Oval Office Iraq speech. Why? Because that is their agreement with Obama (they meet with him every morning, you know). And here is why they left this out of their daily reporting:

Day of speech, Obama is sitting on 48% approval, hoping the speech will take him back into positive numbers for the first time in more than a year.

Day after the speech - still too early for polling results regarding the speech, Obama scores a 47%.

Two days after the speech -- suddenly Obama's numbers drop to 44%.

Days three and four -- the downward trend continues at a near record for both days -- 42%.

Today, the fall is over and the American people have moved on, to the next Great ObamaGaffe.

Conclusion: the American people hated the speech. They are concerned for jobs, the economy, healthcare costs, rising insurance premiums, the threat of increased taxation without representation ... and Obama talks to them about Iraq. Go figure.
