Obama's Army is AOL, just in time for the midterms. The site used to be called Organizing for Obama. After the election, its name changed to Organizing for American. In the day, this Army had 13,000 folks working email output and as many as 8 million working the streets for their hero. Organizing for America had a 6000 member staff that has shrunk to less than 300. There is no Army. Many of them are disappointed that their hopes of an Obama Utopia have proven to be so much talk.
Many of them get it: 10 years from now, their lives will be very much as they are now. They will not support a second campaign based upon the same promises as the first and Obama has nothing else to say. The college mind supporters, now, realize that nothing of consequence has been done to reduce the cost of higher education. When it is all said and done, attending college is just as burdensome before Obama as now.
His "largest tax cuts in American history" were actually reimbursements which have to be reported as income and taxes paid, accordingly. Real tax cuts? No one pays taxes on real tax cuts.
Update: it turns out that Obama's speech, yesterday, held on a local college campus, had some 75 open seats a few minutes before his scheduled speech. The college sent out aides to gather in enough of the student body to fill those seats. Two years ago, it would have been standing room only inside, with lines of smiley faced leftist sponges standing outside.
