White House Science Czar Says He Would Use ‘Free Market’ to ‘De-Develop the United States’ — In a video interview this week, White House Office of Science and Technology Director John P. Holdren told CNSNews.com that he would use the “free market economy” to implement the “massive campaign” . . . .
Editor's notes: in the referenced article, Holdren's 1970's comment is quoted in the news article:
“Resources must be diverted from frivolous and wasteful uses in overdeveloped countries to filling the genuine needs of underdeveloped countries," Holdren and his co-authors wrote. "This effort must be largely political, especially with regard to our overexploitation of world resources, but the campaign should be strongly supplemented by legal and boycott action against polluters and others whose activities damage the environment. The need for de-development presents our economists with a major challenge. They must design a stable, low-consumption economy in which there is a much more equitable distribution of wealth than in the present one. Redistribution of wealth both within and among nations is absolutely essential, if a decent life is to be provided for every human being.”
In the article, it is clear that he still believes this sort of nonsense. Again and again, we are reminded of the radicalization of the White House --- full of folks who are Marxist/Socialists to the core. They are everywhere within the Administration, John Holdren being the latest example.
There is no doubt that the coming midterm elections as well as 2012 is about the taking back of America in the same breathe the Marxist agenda is dismantled. Politics as usual is no more. Everyone acknowledges this fact. What is missed is the "why" of this reality.
The difference between Obama's version of Marxism and Hillary's is a thing called "incrementalism." Before Obama, we argued about whether or not anyone was a socialist/Marxist. The Progressive Movement has been under way since 1913 and the slow move to a Socialist State was the very thing the Marxist/Socialists hide behind. With the Advent of Obama, that "slow move to Socialism" came to an abrupt end. "Time for talk is over, time for action is now." And with that rhetorical mantra in mind, Obama announced to the world that "incrementalism" was a dead political strategy. As a consequence, the cover for these Marxist has been forever "blown." Everyone knows who these radicals are and how dangerous their thinking is for the continuation of the United States as we know it.
"Fundamental change" has been met with "hell no" and with both declarations, "politics as usual" is dead as a door nail.
