Last year, Obama took the 9/11 occasion to institute "National Service Day" while choosing to visit the Pentagon. Last year was his choice.
This year, there is no mention of the National Service Day and Obama, once again, will NOT go to New York and the site of the 9/11 disaster. The difference between then and now? Last year, he was well thought of. This year, he fears public ridicule.
He is a man who came to power with a view to dictatorial powers and is now paying the price for that decision. Yesterday, Rasmussen Reports had Obama's approval rating at a startling and record low of 41%. This is a man whose numbers could drop into the 30 percentile bracket before the midterms.
And he complains about being "treated like a dog." Perhaps if he stopped using the American people as fire hydrants, the dog thingy would go away.
