Obama blasts those pesky mean old Republicans for wanting to pay for unemployment benefits.

Obama slams GOP for stalling jobless benefits — President Obama slammed Senate Republicans Saturday for blocking the extension of unemployment benefits. — In his weekly radio address, Obama said keeping those benefits in place would put money in people's pockets, leading to more consumer spending that could boost local economies.

Editor's notes: if you think for even a moment of time that the GOP does not care about the unemployed, well, you are the most extreme of partisans. OF COURSE THEY CARE. The Congressional debate has nothing to do with the benefit question, per se. Rather, the GOP wants these much needed benefits to be paid for. The fools in leadership simply do not understand that WE ARE OUT OF MONEY. These White House pundits seem to think that as long as there are checks in the checkbook, they must have money.

Look, it is clear that Obama has no clue as to the importance of a balanced budget during times of crisis. All he "knows" to do is to push for increased and continued spending, hoping against hope that the capitalist entrepreneur in our society will solve the problem of jobs creation for him. We believe that behind closed doors, Obama cannot understand why private business has not "kicked in" ending the jobs decline.

We need to make it clear to our representatives that spending needs to be offset with cuts or provable increases in taxable GDP.
