In just 19 months, he has increased the size of government to from 20% to nearly 65% . And the most recent advancement of governmental control (via more than 500 regulations) was signed into law in the Reagan Center. The message from Obama to the Nation is "in your face" and the insult to the Reagan memory is profound. Obama is as different from Reagan as black is from white and he intends to drive this point home in no uncertain terms. What a lie it was for Obama to quote Reagan during the campaign and pretend a respect for the Conservative President that did not exist. But how could we know ?? We trusted in his rhetoric and believed in his promises and plans. Turns out it was all a "bait and switch" game for the community organizer.

Understand that none of these large bills passed by the Congress have been completed. The regulations need to be written; the financial circumstance needs to worked out; the various agencies need to be organized, positions described, salaries fixed, and responsibilities detailed. The health care bill is not scheduled to go into effect until 2014. The reason? Again, it has not been written into its final stage. We are nearly 4 years removed from the completion of that task.

Ditto for the Wall Street regulation bill. 800 people will be hired to implement its rule -- another law passed but waiting to be fully written, maybe a year from now.

Why the bill now? Bragging rights for the coming midterm. Obama will brag about how much he has "accomplished." Those who oppose him will argue that he did it all in opposition to the will of the people and without having paid for these changes . . . . socialist busy work in the face of a growing recession and an unsafe world he has completely ignored as he worked his Marxist Magic.
