Hawaiian merchants complain against Obama's sudden visit to the Islands. They lost $200,000 because of him.

A Reuters picture of the President playing golf in Hawaii last December.

The island's merchants lost well over $200,000 in canceled entertainment contracts and lose of tourist trade due to Obama's poorly thought out advance notice to these merchants.

They are now asking the Feds for reimbursement.

Obama made 726 speeches last year, taking up 9 months of time to prepare and deliver (726 speeches x 3 hours each in prep, travel and delivery -- on average = 1478 hours ).

In other words, he spent 9 months, literally, out of the first 12 months doing nothing but talking. Add another 1/2 month for 32 rounds of golf and 332 evening White House party events and you have the record of the Biggest Do Nothing in national history.

And he is off to a 2nd year of misguided effort, union pay-backs in the form of infrastructure jobs, a second disastrous round of foreign affairs diplomacy, unilateral (that means we are the only ones involved) surrender of our missile defense system, something he started in 2009, continued taxation without representation, billions more in domestic spending and his continued effort at elevating the power of the "presidency" over and above Congress.
