It's not just Rasmussen giving Obama fits - it is nearly all polls. Midknight Review presents a TIPP poll that is a problem to Obama's future, as well

What is most significant in the polling indicated on the accompanying chart are the numbers charted for "independents." Jobs or the lack thereof, spending and the convoluted health care bill all combine to give these polling results.

Midknight Review uses Rasmussen Reports. Recently, the thin-skinned Obama Administration decided to "go after" this polling firm, claiming a right-wing bias as it, the Administration, tried to explain its declining numbers.

TIPP polling is as noteworthy as Rasmussen. Its results show a very similar set of numbers for Obama, as does Gallup, PEW and even the Obama controlled network polls.

What is startling in the charted results above, is the health care approval number for independents - a little over 20% approving of health care as it is presently written. Obama cannot win re-election without help from the independents. It is truly remarkable that in all this, we may be witnessing the suicide of an entire political party. Amazing.

Jobs: at Recovery.gov, the total number of jobs supplied by Obama stimulus policy according to Obama is 640,329.18 (yes, ".18"). That is Obama's official number of jobs supplied for the entire year. 325,000 are teaching positions already filled but "saved." The remainder are union jobs. He had promised shovel ready jobs and 3 million of those jobs by years end. 90% were to be in the "private sector." None of that happened.

Spending: 23 trillion dollars have been run through TARP, according to the Special Inspector General over that funding allocation. In addition to this, Obama has spent nearly a trillion dollars a month since being in office and has driven this nation into its worse financial debt in history, outspending all presidents from George Washington to now by double that total . . . . that's twice the spending total of all combined presidents just in Obama's first year !!!

Healthcare: a back room deal that virtually no one wants. It is grossly over budget when all spending is considered. A billion dollars for the medical review board was hidden in the Stimulus bill. Another $240,000 for reimbursements to Medicare doctors has been separated from the health care bill. and $500 billion in cuts to Medicare will never happen. Consider that premiums will increase, on average, $200 per a family of four. Add in the fact that 18 million Americans (all legal citizens) are not covered and you have a bill that is an insult to the American voter and a death song for the Marxist Democrats pursuing its passage.
