A fourth night of organized riots, find 150 arrests and shootout between ONE punk and the cops, but the black power movement of the past several years is losing steam.

Editor's notes:  Understand that the problems of Ferguson are part of an anti-cop movement,  much of it organized and agenda driven,  but a great deal of it, the result of wannabee thugs taking advantage of  "timing,"  just punks having fun at the expense of those,  living in Ferguson, hoping for peace and tranquility.

Stepdad screaming "Burn this bitch down," last year.
No mention is being made of outside organizations into Ferguson,  but,  during the first riots,  a year ago,  99% of the rioters were from outside the region.  Last night,  150 were arrested.  Last year,  on the final night of the riots,  85 were arrested with one,  just one person,  being from the City of Ferguson.  That much of this is organized is evidenced by the appearance of printed T-shirts,  the distribution of "home-made" signs, not to mention the use of the war chant,  "Hands up,  don't shoot."  Understand that all investigations into the incident found that Brown's death was the result of a justified shooting, as confirmed by the local Grand Jury and Eric Holder's DOJ.

There is a healthy difference,  between the two events,  however.  That difference is Loretta Lynch,  the current Attorney General.  She is black,  an appointee of Obama's replacing the black activist/anarchist, Eric Hilder,  and a member of the Obama Administration,  replete with its anarchist/domestic reform agenda under the direction of H Obama and his intellectual equal,  Alvin Sharpton.  The difference?  Loretta Lynch is not running to the nearest mic,  going on record making one inflammatory statement after another,   or building on the black hate that has been encouraged by the Obama Administration.  While many opposed her appointment,  I did not (for the record) and am pleased with her service as acting Attorney General.

As it turns out,  Michael Brown's racist stepdad may be more the center of this recent round of bad behavior,  than any other single person.   I am not one that allows for his degree of bitterness,  especially in view of the proven fact that his step-son had robbed a fast food mart, physically threatened the store's owner,  and,  when told to get out of the middle of the street minutes later, attacked the cop making that demand,  hitting him as he sat in his vehicle and trying to steal his gun.  In the community in which I live,  this punk would have been immediately arrested.  Instead,  officer Wilson allowed him to walk away.  Rather than taking advantage of that fact,  Brown decided to turn around, come back to the officer,  and continue the fight.  Being that he was a 6'3" teenage punk,  weighing 295 pounds,  the much small officer had no choice.  All who investigated the incident, are in full agreement.

Point of post:  While there are similarities,  you should know that there are differences between this riot and last year's,  and those differences include the absence Al Sharpton  (was he told by DOJ to stay away?), the professionalism of Loretta Lynch, and,  the lack of organized efforts in other communities such as Seattle,  Oakland,  San Fran, Baltimore, Chicago and Washington D.C.,  as was the case a year ago.

Things do seem to be "settling down," and folks are moving on,  all because they are not being antagonized by leaders at the top of the political food chain.   Hats off to Loretta Lynch.

4th night of Ferguson protests brings confrontation, arrests
FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) - Police arrested nearly two dozen people in Ferguson during a fourth consecutive night of demonstrations marking the anniversary of the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown. The gathering that stretched into early Tuesday morning came a day after a protest along West Florissant Avenue that was interrupted by gunfire and a police shooting that left an 18-year-old critically injured. The violence set the St. Louis suburb on edge and had protest leaders worried about whether tensions would escalate.
