Results of the past three day Values Voter’s Summit. Understand that the Socialist/Progressives have nothing similar to this convention. Their value or core beliefs do not include anything about God, school choice and the serious pursuit of better education (the fact that many great teachers are Democrats is besides the point), parental rights and obligations, charitable giving as a faith based function, the need to empower the private sector entrepreneur, a balanced budget, a well armed and well managed military or the preservation of life for the unborn.
As you can see, Ted Cruz has moved up the ladder of popularity, within this conservative body politic, from running in the middle of the pack with anywhere from 6% to 12% of any vote of approval, to where he is today.
I have watched him debate folks from the Left and he is excellent. He keeps his cool, deals with the issues, never calls names and controls the civil tone of any and all discussions I have watched.
Unlike Obama, he is or was a practicing lawyer and has the ability to think in terms that are refreshing and even profound. Like I said, all this “unlike Obama.”
