We all think Ron Paul's approval of a nuclear Iran is nuts. Guess who else agrees with Paul?

According to Fars News Agency, which is close to the Revolutionary Guards, Hossein Ebrahimi, the vice chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, alleged that on Saturday in a meeting between Swiss Ambassador Livia Leu Agosti and Iranian Foreign Ministry officials, Agosti informed the Iranian officials that Obama recognizes Iran’s right of access to and use of nuclear technology.

Ebarhimi also disclosed another important point that the Swiss diplomat delivered: Obama said that “I didn’t want to impose sanctions on your central bank, but I had no options but to approve it since a Congress majority had approved the decision.”  (from PJ Media )

Understand that Obama believes that if he shows our enemies respect,  treats then as if they were fairness loving leaders,  our world would be different.  I am 66 and have never seen this sort of thing work.  It does not work on the school campus  (you have to either scare a bully or beat him into the ground)  and it doesn't work in international politics.

Me,  I am hoping that Obama will run on his foreign policy record.  What does he have?  Let's see,  there is the killing of Osama bin laden and Anwar Alaki and,  and,  that's about it.  Oh!  he has killed more terrorist leaders than Bush did in eight years . . . . . . . . . .  except,  of course,  for the 40,000 terrorist killed during the Iraqi war and the virtual winning of that war.

What else?  Can he claim Libya as a success?  Not exactly.  How about Egypt with its 75% majority Muslim Brotherhood government?  Well, what did he do during the Green Revolution in Iran?  How's our relationship with Israel going?  Or with Great Britain.  How about those partnerships with Canada and Mexico?  What has been done to advance peace in the N. Korean situation?  When he unilaterally canceled out the missile defense systems in Georgia and Poland . . . . . . . . . .  what was the benefit there?  How about his world wide partnership and that  Copenhagen alliance on global warming?  What was the effective followup to his Cairo speech to Muslim world?  Anyone feel safer because of that speech or his calling Israel "an occupier?"  Why did he side with the Honduran Communists during their constitutional crisis in 2009 before he had even been briefed on the matter? Turkey is in the process of telling us to get lost.    Why did he force the Dalai Lama to leave the White House through the back door and past a huge pile of garbage?  Why does he pucker up every time a Communist Chinese type looks our way?  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . get the point,  and all of this is off the top of my head.

And now,  he wants to recognize Iran's right to have a nuclear weapon . . . . . understanding that you cannot allow them to nuclear reactors without allowing for weaponry.  It's just not practical.

Run on his foreign policy record?  Bring it on  !!!
