You would not know it if you get your news from state controlled media BUT the Obama Agenda for 2009 has been defeated.

Obama shakes a cautionary finger in the face of opposition as he warns of a continued effort to legislate his environmental opinions. Note: "shaking a cautionary finger" and "giving the finger" are related terms, in this case.

But,

In a recent set-back for the junk science that is "global warming", India announced [last week] its decision to discontinue its cooperation with regards to the global issue of climate change (previously known as "global warming"). They join China and Russia in this decision. Most of the third world African nations have shied away from the idea of a Copenhagen type international warming agreement and several of the smaller European nations are prepared to officially reject the idea, as well.

In a recent Examiner on line article, we have this summary statement:

The rejection by China, Russia and India (among others) of new international initiatives to control global warming reduce the likelihood that Obama’s pending American Clean Energy and Security Act” climate initiative will be adopted. Without controls on all global greenhouse gas emitters, nothing the US does in the way of costly greenhouse gas reductions will impact climates.

And there you have it . . . . . the wheels have come off Obama supported "cap and trade" tax ("tax" in this case is a term used by the Marxist Redistibutionists instead of the deceptive phrase "cap and trade environmental policy"). Few truly understand just how wholly involved and systemic has been the debacle that is the Obama Domestic Agenda. His plan was to have health care and "cap and trade" passed into law by mid-July. Early 2009 was THE single best opportunity for a Marxist Legislative Coup. It did not happen. Midknight Review believes that the Marxist takeover of our Nation has been almost totally defeated and defeated at a number of levels including city, county and state governments, not to mention nationally and globally.

What most do not understand is that the spending of the Obama Administration was going to be off-set by the taxes collected from Cap and Trade and Health Care Reform. Keep in mind the fact that Health Care was to go into effect in 2014 but the taxes initiated by the passage of this bill were to be collected beginning with JANUARY OF THIS YEAR - more than a month ago. Some say that as much as 2 trillion would be collected within the coming four years. Such a collection would give the impression that fiscal management and the brilliance of the Obama plan had actually worked. As it turns out, his childish spending and novice planning is "out there" for all to see. He counted the chickens before he got them herded into the chicken pin.

Sadly, the spending splurge of the 2009 Obama Supersized Congress was not partnered with the taxing splurge of Health Care and the Environmental bill (Cap and Trade). In his State of the Union Address, Obama criticized the Supreme Court for a decision he claimed would put foreign powers in charge of our domestic policies. Since that speech, his comments have been shown to be not true. But, his stated "fear" may be the fact of the matter when it comes to the spending habits of the 2009 Congressional season. More than 40% of all Federal spending is money borrowed from international sources, especially China and Japan. The massive growth of government coming out of the 111th Congress will substantially increase the percentage of money we borrow and print. Without the anticipated revenues of Cap and Trade and the four years of collected taxes related to the Health Care bill, the economy may be a crisis that is, yet, untold.

The real problem in this is the realization that this is an election year. The Party in power will say and do whatever is necessary to avoid the announcement of an increasing crisis. Not only this, the Party in power will continue to blame Bush and the GOP ------------------ you remember the GOP ? It is that party that was totally ignored by the Dems in the last four months of 2009 and was never invited to the White House with regard to establishing a partisan approach to the issues of Warming and Health Care. While this strategy [blame Bush and blame the Party with NO legislative power] sounds a little moronic, it is the only option available to a political collective (the Democrat Party) devoid of ideas that do not center themselves is the giving away of money -- jds.
