GOP candidate race update: Can Trump win without Indiana?

Current delegate tally :
Trump  996,  Cruz 565,  Kasich 153

Remarkably,  Kasich is still running fourth to Rubio (171 delegates) who retired his campaign over a month ago.

Trump needs  241 additional delegates to win the nomination before the convention.  Is that possible,  even “probable?”

Indiana is tomorrow,  May 3,  with 57 winner take all delegates.

If Trump wins Indiana,  he will need 182 of the remaining 425 available delegates  . . .  not counting the 200 plus “free” delegates   . . . . .   a little under 50%

If Trump loses Indiana,  he will need 241 of the remaining 425   . . . .   a little over 50% .

So,  “yes,”  Trump can win the nomination with or without Indiana.
