Finally, someone is standing up for our troops. Too bad their primary allies do not include their commanders and the Commander in Chief.

Joint Chiefs of Staff tell congress,  "To hell with our
troops" or words to that effect.  The House said, "No."

<<< Just to be clear,  the military may have more Progressive, big spending,  "take it out on the troops,"  leaders in command,  than any of us could imagine,  before Obama.

This panel of losers fought to spend more money on war toys by cutting pay increases, housing allowances,  and healthcare benefits.  No one ever mentions the fact that these same clowns, support without protest,  the disgraceful changes in the rules of engagement,  rule changes that are directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of our combat troop.  Before Obama,  I had no idea there were so many pussies (really,  there is no other word) serving our military as leaders and advisers.

From Stars and Strips,  we have this account:

[A] Republican-controlled committee has rejected the Department of Defense proposals to cap pay raises at 1 percent and slash the costs of military supermarkets, housing allowances and the Tricare health care system – despite dire warnings by the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff in Senate testimony Tuesday that readiness could suffer otherwise. Armed Services is expected to cobbled together a final draft of the defense budget late Wednesday and send it to the full House for a vote.

God bless the GOP, at least,  for this decision.
