The Obama administration has confirmed that it knew within 24 hours that U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens had been killed in a pre-planned terrorist attack and not by crazed protestors enraged by an anti-Islam film. As the Administration stages its cover-up and in the shadow of an intelligence “admission” that the White House did not know, keep the timeline in mind.
“They” want you to forget the above report fact. What this means is this, on the Sunday Susan Rice was lying her proverbial off, we have the White House confession that they did know the truth. This story was reported in the DailyMail.
This is now (the Lie):
“In the immediate aftermath (of the assault), there was information that led us to assess that the attack began spontaneously following protests earlier that day at our embassy in Cairo,” spokesman Sean Turner said in the statement. “We provided that initial assessment to executive branch officials and members of Congress, who used that information to discuss the attack publicly.”
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which coordinates and sets policies for the 16 other U.S. intelligence agencies, is led by retired Air Force Gen. James Clapper, who was appointed by President Barack Obama in August 2010.
U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans died in the assault staged by scores of assault rifle- and rocket-propelled grenade-toting assailants on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.
Republicans, including presidential candidate Mitt Romney, have accused the administration of misleading the country about the nature of the attack to protect Obama’s campaign claim that his policies have hurt al Qaida’s ability to launch attacks and eased anti-U.S. hatred in the Muslim world.

Keep both stories in mind, because they do not work together.
Update: another "duplicitous" and self serving statement was made by Brad Woodhouse, chairman of DNC communications, told Fox News on Saturday morning (9/29/12) that Obama called the Libyan incidence a terror related event on "day one."
Two comments: this is a lie and no one can find such a quote, but, allowing for it to be true, how in the world does that solve the PR problem Obama has in sending Susan Rice out, five days after the fact, denying over and over again, that this was a terror related attack? If the White House is admitting that it knew the truth, as Woodhouse claims and the Daily Mail confirms, why is this not all about "cover-up."
